Media Feature｜Expanding Dermatology Expertise Locally to Bring Hope to Patients

Two years ago, Dr. Chau Yee Ng, Director of the Pigment Disorders Center, took on the mission of helping establish the Dermatology Aesthetic Center at Chang Gung Memorial Hospital, Renai Branch. He also introduced the refined melanocyte transplantation techniques developed at the Vitiligo and Pigment Center (ViPC), Linkou, to the new facility in central Taiwan.

With the dedicated support of the Renai medical team, we have continued to optimize the pigmentation reconstruction process—aiming to make advanced, safe vitiligo treatments accessible to patients in southern and central regions of Taiwan.

A recent news report highlighted the story of a 12-year-old girl whose facial vitiligo was significantly improved through surgery. This case exemplifies the power of collaborative care and strengthens our determination to deepen local service efforts.
