The 51st Annual Meeting of the Taiwanese Dermatological Association (TDA) has successfully concluded. We are proud to announce that our Center Director, Dr. Chau Yee Ng, MD, PhD, was invited to co-chair the "Pigmentary Disorders Session" alongside Professor Cheng-Che Lan from Kaohsiung Medical University. The session featured distinguished international experts, including Prof. Itefat Hamzavi (USA), Prof. Marwa Abdallah (Egypt), and Prof. Jung Min Bae (Korea), facilitating a high-level exchange on the latest advancements in vitiligo management.

Presenting Local Data on JAK Inhibitors

Addressing the latest therapeutic innovations, Dr. Ng presented the team's research on the "Real-world Experience of Topical JAK Inhibitors in Taiwanese Vitiligo Patients." The presentation analyzed clinical data from nearly 100 local patients, evaluating the efficacy and safety profile of these FDA-approved agents specifically for Taiwanese skin types. Dr. Ng also discussed future trends, including oral JAK inhibitors and novel biologics. This significant contribution provides essential local evidence to guide clinical decision-making in Taiwan.
